We are seeking a Customer Success Engineer to join our team as a founding member of the Customer Success organization. In this role, you will work with data engineers, scientists, and analysts from startups and Fortune 500 companies to help them adopt our product and best practices to achieve their goals. As a founding member, you will have the opportunity to shape the Customer Success function by developing processes, documentation, and educational content.

What you’ll do
- Develop expertise in our product features, functionality, and use cases
- Lead product demos, roadmap briefings, and feature updates to drive product adoption
- Maintain regular communication with a portfolio of customers to identify new use cases, understand their business needs, and recommend solutions to help them grow
- Assist with customer onboarding by ingesting usage statistics, lineage, and operational metadata from systems such as Snowflake, Redshift, and Kafka
- Provide technical support to customers and serve as the primary point of escalation for customer issues
- Build strong relationships with customers, help promote their success, and turn them into advocates
- Collaborate with the product and engineering teams to identify areas for improvement and new feature development
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in technical account management, solutions architecture, sales engineering, professional services, consulting, software engineering, or data engineering,
- Expertise in Python and a strong understanding of the modern data stack, data pipelines, and ETL processes
- Intermediate level for SQL and BI tools (Tableau, Snowflake, Looker, etc.)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for helping customers and ability to build relationships
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment
- Education in Computer Science, coding bootcamp, or a related field
This position is open to candidates in the US Eastern time zone and can be done remotely.
