Are you ready to dive into the world of open source and make a meaningful contribution? Hacktoberfest 2023 is here, and we're thrilled to invite you to participate by contributing to the DataHub project.

What is Hacktoberfest?

Hacktoberfest is an annual celebration of open-source software. It encourages developers, both new and experienced, to contribute to open-source projects on GitHub. By making a minimum of four valid PRs during October, participants can earn exclusive Hacktoberfest swag and digital rewards.

How can I contribute to DataHub?

Whether you’re improving existing documentation, writing a step-by-step guide, or heck, fixing some typos - all of it helps others be successful in their DataHub journey. Here are some ideas:

Your contributions to DataHub during October 2023 will not go unnoticed. Here's what you can expect:

  • Hacktoberfest Digital Reward Kit: All PRs merged during October in the DataHub and DataHub Helm repositories will count toward your Hacktoberfest goal and earn you the digital reward kit.
  • Go for it and Win $250 USD Amazon Gift Card + DataHub Swag: For every PR you open in either DataHub or DataHub Helm repositories in October 2023, you'll win a $250 USD Amazon Gift Card, along with official DataHub swag. We'll randomly select 3 winners during the November Town Hall!
